The DaSh Programme will build capability to support the sharing and re-use of research data and, as a result, is aimed at expanding the scale and scope of problems that Australian researchers may seek to address.
RDSI Summit at eResearch Australasia Conference 2012, Sydney

RDSI hosted a Summit as part of the eResearch Australasia Conference on Thursday, 1 November 2012 in Sydney.

Further discussions regarding the RDSI Node infrastructure continue through the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC).

Now Easier to Complete: RDSI Data Sharing (DaSh) Data Movement Mechanisms Survey

Changes have been made to the RDSI Data Sharing (DaSh) Data Movement Mechanisms Survey which make it easier to complete, with a simplified option for the Field of Research Classification. This short survey is designed to inform RDSI of the preferred data movement mechanisms that may be made available at Nodes through the DaSh programme.

Anonymous consolidated responses from the survey will be made available publically through the RDSI website. Please respond at your earliest convenience.

RDSI Data Sharing (DaSh) Data Movement Mechanisms Survey

Which technical needs for data are highest priorities? We want to make sure you can get your data into and out of RDSI Nodes. By completing the survey you will ensure your needs are counted when the RDSI DaSh programme and Nodes implement a specific set of data movement mechanisms. The survey is designed to inform RDSI of the preferred data movement mechanisms that may be made available at Nodes through the DaSh programme. Consolidated responses from the survey will be made available publically through the RDSI website, so as to inform the community of any discipline preferences, and guide RDSI in determining which data movement mechanisms to provide through the DaSh programme. RDSI Data Sharing (DaSh) Data Movement Mechanisms Survey

The DaSh Tinman Consultation will be held Friday 11 November, Melbourne.
